    Choose the right subcategory

    This page brings together different excavator types and attachments. Start with mini excavators when space is restricted and easier transport matters. Compare crawler excavators for soft or uneven ground, and wheeled excavators for hard surfaces and frequent repositioning. Backhoe loaders combine rear excavating equipment with a front loader. Use the trencher subcategory for narrow, continuous trenches. If you need a work tool for an existing machine rather than a carrier, choose excavator attachments.

    Compare listings within the chosen type

    • Task and ground conditions: define the material, digging depth and reach, dump height, required lifting capacity, available space and surface conditions.
    • Weight and transport: check the operating weight and transport dimensions of the exact configuration, together with access and transport requirements.
    • Equipment: compare the boom, stick, counterweight, buckets and other attachments, coupler and auxiliary hydraulic specifications.
    • Used-machine condition: ask for the serial number, year, operating hours and service history. During an inspection, check operation, leaks, cylinders, hoses, play and wear in the undercarriage or tyres.

    Compare specifications for the exact machine version and confirm the approved configuration in its documentation.
